Trinity College Dublin – Long Room Hub Project within the historic University Campus of Trinity College.
The site is located west of Fellow’s Square, south of the 1937 Reading Room and east of the Provost’s Garden and over the rear of the Edmunde Burke Theatre.
This project consists of the construction of a new 4 storey research office building. The new building footprint occurs over an existing single storey building – the Edmunde Burke Theatre.
The building will be constructed using a structural steel frame with multi storey steel trusses arrangement used to traverse the existing building. These trusses will be supported by new concrete cores on either side of the building. This building presents in a rectangular shape.
