Elm Park Seminar
Sustainability and energy efficiency were the issues of the day at the recent seminar held at the impressive Elm Park Development, Merrion Road, Dublin 4. The event took place in Elm Park’s marketing suite on Thursday 28th February 2008.
The development, which is characterised by its tall, narrow, snake-like buildings and lozenge-shaped timber stilts, comprises of a hotel, medical clinic, three office blocks, two residential blocks and a senior citizen housing development.
The project placed serious emphasis and importance on sustainability and energy efficiency throughout the detailed design and construction stages.
Speakers on the day included, Jack Butler (Business Development Director), Luke Gibbons (Construction Director), Francis McNulty (M&E Director) and Merrit Bucholz of Bucholz McEvoy Architects.
A short lunch followed which gave guests an opportunity to take in the panoramic views of the South Dublin coastline and the day concluded with a short tour of the development.
