Michael McNamara & Company have commenced construction on the Centre for Applied Science for Health (CASH) Building at the Institute of Technology Tallaght.

This new state of the art building will be situated next to the existing Synergy building which it will adjoin upon completion sharing an enlarged foyer/coffee dock.

The research building will provide laboratory and supporting desk spaces with provision for up to 50 researchers.

A significant part of the development will include the provision of innovation laboratories designed to accommodate industry-led research projects, i.e. offering companies access to dedicated space for a fixed period or for collaborative industry-academia projects where companies can have a presence on campus whilst accessing expertise and/or technologies. Other facilities will include office space, post graduate and post doctoral areas, social spaces and a conference room.

The campus and the Synergy building will continue to operate normally during the construction period, adjacent to a separate infrastructure upgrading project at the same time.
