The Galway City Councils offices were built on the footprint of the old offices, on Prospect Hill, the highest point in Galway City.
Constructed using predominantly natural and modern materials for thermal gain, the 5,500 sq metres consisted of a feature atrium of original stone and windows to retain stonework and windows features.
