James Usher Library, Trinity College Dublin - €15.5m
James Usher Library is a new library building adjacent to the existing Berkeley and Lecky libraries. Consisting of six storeys over a double basement construction, with a total gross floor area of 8,389m2. Featuring a six storey high glass roofed atrium, the building is divided into three distinct areas, Book Block, Research Block and Conservation Block / Map Library. Fair face concrete / blockwork internally, with a granite finish externally. The programme commenced in April 1999 and finished in December 2001.
